DELIVERIES & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

GENERAL DELIVERY TIME

Shipping times vary depending on the product ordered. Typically, if the item is in stock, delivery will be within 5-7 working days. If the product is not available and needs to be produced, an additional 5 day production time needs to be added to the delivery time mentioned above. 

 

If it happens that the initial delivery times cannot be met, a new delivery time will then be communicated to the customer, according to the information available to Tales of Dubai.

DELIVERY METHODS IN UAE

Tales of Dubai is using standard delivery by courier services (such as Fetchr). Deliveries are carried out from Saturdays to Thursdays, excluding public holidays. The charges are 20aed for delivering in Dubai, and 50aed for the rest of the UAE.

 

The parcel is dealt with by courier service and is delivered upon being signed for at the delivery address indicated by the customer. In the event of absence, it will be at the customer to reorganise the delivery with the courier service. 

RETURN POLICY
& CANCELLATION

We hope you are happy with the purchase you made with us.  In case you are not satisfied, please read on.

 

RETURN OF DAMAGED GOODS

Should you receive a damaged item, please notify us immediately by writing an email to contact@talesofdubai.com.  Attach a photo of the damage if possible. We will then revert to you to rectify the situation.  Kindly note that this includes damage by production or delivery only.

EXCHANGE & RETURN 

Should you change your mind about a purchased product, the following applies

-poster prints only: return/exchange the item within 7 days (beginning from reception of goods by customer).  

-numbered art prints: these are made-to-order and can not be returned or exchanged. 

-framed items: these are made-to-order and a return/exchange needs to be dealt with on an individual basis. Please get in touch via contact@talesofdubai.com

In the event of a return/exchange, the customer bears the shipping costs. The returned products must be intact, in a perfect state for resale, and in original packing.​ Any product which is damaged, incomplete, or whose original packing is deteriorated, will be neither refunded nor exchanged. In the event of a refund, the customer will receive a voucher for the sums paid which can be used against the next order. This voucher is valid for 6 months. The Customer can also ask for the sums paid to be refunded directly. In the event of a demand for repayment, Tales of Dubai will make all effort to refund the Customer within 45 days.

CANCELLATION

Customers can cancel their order within 24 hours of placement.  Refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer.  Please allow for up to 45 days for the refund transfer to be completed.

PAYMENT METHOD

Our customers have the choice of these three payment methods.

 

CARD 

The customer can pay his/her order online by bank card: Visa and Eurocard / MasterCard. The customer guarantees Tales of Dubai that he/she has the necessary authorization to use the mode of payment chosen by him/her, during the confirmation of the purchase order. The debit for purchases on the customer's account is done at the time of the processing of the order.  For more details see our Terms&Conditions.

CASH ON DELIVERY

The customer can pay his/her order cash on delivery if agreed to do so with Tales of Dubai. The cash will be handed over to the courier service arranged by Tales of Dubai.
